Sora tries to fix his relationship with Ienzo, take 2.

[Sometimes, looking back, he wondered why he had stopped them from properly murdering Sora that time.

He remembered being tired of revenge ploys, and from trying to feel hatred so hard.

But that was still not an excuse.

He had no sympathy for that man, none at all. Or so he liked to think.

He liked to think that it happened because he was disgusted by the idea of Sora managing to worm his way into his heart again. Or whatever was left of it.

But he really wasn't.

Still, it was all pointless thoughts that would change nothing. Sora was fortunately too busy trying to fix whatever was left of himself and whatever was left of the man who was not quite Xehanort.

And Ienzo was too busy trying to fix all the damaged people around him. At least they could be fixed.

So he was fine.

[This visit has been a little awkward. But yet, at te same time, he's nervous and a bit anxious. Why would Ienzo share this with him...? He still feels the sting of the conersation they had a couple of nights ago, even when he told him he would be Ienzo's friend.]

[And so, he pours some more tea in the two cups.]

How is he feeling, Sora?

[B-BLINK. He meant Terra, right...?]

He's... he's a lot better now. But there's still a long way to go.

I see...

He has a different scent now, even if it is slightly familiar at the same time.

Can you tell me why that happened? The other scent... The one gone from him and even from you, that wasn't just darkness.

[Soft frown, thoughtful... he hasn't really stopped to think about it ~~because he's still Sora and therefore he sucks for that~~.]

When the brats fought Xemnas... I called Terra's heart from within Kingdom Hearts. I didn't know it was him at that moment, I never expected him to be a different person.

[Aaaaand the frown deepens.]

I don't know about scents and all that but I remember the feeling of that darkness. It was a cold feeling, like it was... [looking for words...] like it was strangling my heart. Completely taking over it.

[Oh, he remembers that feeling quiiiite clearly. Yep.]

So there was a completely foreign darkness... Someone else's, right?

Yes. He sealed the light in my heart and prevented it to come forth. I forgot voices and faces of those I loved.

[...a bit detached. After all, it was over, wasn't it...?]

I see.

Did he... Terra, tell you anything about how things happened o him? How he ended with that foreign darkness inside him?

He told me about Xehanort, the real Xehanort, taking over his body. He lost his memory when he arrived in Radiant Garden... that's as much as he can remember clearly. It causes him pain to remember details, so I haven't asked for more.

That is probably much more complex than we could think... But I understand.

He probably has a hard time dealing with memories from both his Heartless and his Nobody.

[Not that Ienzo would know. Of course.]

I'm sure he'll tell you too when he can...

[...well, no, he's not. But he's sure Terra would, if it helps solving their situation.]

It was merely curiosity, I admit.
